The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial
There have been many bronze memorials erected in
London over centuries to commemorate the deeds of
              noteworthy personalties, statesmen,generals,inventors,
philanthrophists and dignitaries, but there is one which
stands out in the public eye which also commands
the attention of two young lads, young royals, who lost
their devoted mother, in the prime of life,as much as
their own lives.

Today at 3 p.m.1 July 2021, on a sultry summer afternoon, at
Kensington Place gardens,London, some 24 years later the
same two Princes, Prince William and Prince Harry joined
together to commemorate the memory of their dearly
departed mother,Diana,Princess of Wales, by unveiling
a life size memorial, in front of a select, small crowd
without much fanfare.

It was what would have been their mother's 60th birthday.
love, and motherly qualities that made her a force for good,
                     changing lives around the world".
The sculpture is the work of Ian Rank-Broadley, which
depicts Diana's warmth, elegance and energy with three
children beside, (one hidden) to represent her work.
Crowds gathered outside the metal black and gold gates
of Kensington Palace Sunken Gardens with fans pinning
                     flowers and photos,outside.
created by King Edward VII in 1908 and now features a
variety of Diana's favourite spring and summer English
                     scented blooms including 200 roses,100 forget-me-nots,
300 tulips and about 500 lavender shoots.
As members of the Royal family, both brothers, Diana's
sons jointly seem to publicly remember their mother and
their privately genuine love for her, etched on this statue
that they worked together to create.
